Hannah + Tanner Married

Remember a while ago when I told you about the cutest couple in all the land? Well, guess what? THEY ARE MARRIED! Hannah and Tanner tied the knot back in July (obvs I’m not on top of this whole blogging thing), and I wanted to share some of their happy day with all of you.

We started the day at the OKC LDS temple, where the weather graced us with mild temps and clouds to keep the heat away. Hannah made the most beautiful bride, glowing with joy. From her beautiful gown, to out of this world florals from the one and only Uptown Grocery, every inch was perfection. Tanner, handsome as ever, was so excited to see his bride before the first look, never once stopped smiling.

Their first look was the most precious thing I’ve ever seen. Seriously. Neither one could stop smiling and there were lots of hugs and sweet kisses to go around. Shoot, I couldn’t stop smiling! After that moment, I knew it would be the perfect day. That these two would be perfect for each other.

Many of you know about the LDS temples, but most people don’t know much about what happens in them. It’s a special place of worship where those in the LDS community take on sacred covenants between themselves and the Lord. One of those covenants is the sealing ordinance of marriage. We believe marriage can be for eternity rather than “til death do you part”. Tanner and Hannah chose to be married within the temple for time and all eternity. Because we believe the temple to be most sacred, the ceremony cannot be photographed, but I do know that there probably wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

In the evening, the reception was seriously one big party. Like the biggest. Every single person I encountered was joyous for the couple and had the best time. I mean, there was a taco truck, so how could you not enjoy yourself?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed a little peek into Hannah and Tanner’s special day. I know I sure enjoyed being a part of it. Until next time, friends!
