Since I have some time on my hands, I think it’s time I finished updating the blog! The last wedding of 2019 was with Jordan and Isaac, and it was the perfect way to end the year. Since I’ve introduced you before, let’s dive right into their day!
A December Wedding to Remember
It was a pleasantly warm December day, full of sunshine and blue skies. The perfect day to get married. Their families surrounding them, Jordan and Isaac anxiously prepared to become husband and wife.
It’s All in the Details
You know me, I love details. They’re just my favorite thing to photograph. Each wedding has such individual details that have taken time and effort to prepare. I love being able to take the time each wedding day to document the littlest things for the couple.
First Look
Jordan and her dad have always been close – she’s her daddy’s little girl! I was so happy when they decided to do a first look together, which was so special. He immediately teared up looking at his baby as a beautiful bride, and when I asked him if there was anything he wanted to tell her on her wedding day, smiling with tears in his eyes, he declined, fearing the tears would never stop once they started.
Isaac and Jordan’s first look was no less special! Best friends for years, finally tying the knot after years of dating and waiting. The excitement was almost visible as they saw each other for the first time!
Portraits
Ah, the wedding portraits! Showcasing your love is the best part of my job, and I love getting those genuine reactions from couples as we spend a little time together, capturing those small moments in time.
Bridal Party
Your crew is so essential to your day! This bunch was so supportive of Jordan and Isaac throughout their wedding, I loved it! They truly felt joy for the couple and that brought me joy!
Ceremony
Every ceremony is so special but this one felt even more so since I know these two and their families. Everyone was so happy to see them finally get to tie the knot and begin their life together.
Wrapping Up the Party
The reception and little moments in the wedding day are the best simply because you can see the joy on everyone’s faces. It’s openly shown and everyone is out on that dance floor enjoying themselves.
A Temple Sealing
After the party was over, and everyone went home, the newest Mr & Mrs Waltman prepared for the following day at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Oklahoma City to be sealed not just until death, but for time and all eternity.
There were so many wonderful moments over these two days as we celebrated Isaac and Jordan! Reliving it all over again was such a joy and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did ❤️
Congratulations to the newest Mr & Mrs Waltman!
Until next time!
