Last week I gave you a peek at Kenzie + Brig’s sweet and fun engagement session, but are you ready for their intimate OKC wedding?! Let’s just go ahead and dive right in!

Just a Cloudy Oklahoma Day

If you live here in Oklahoma, you’ll know that May was a W-E-T month for us! Kenzie and Brig got married last month right in the middle of the wet weather, and were lucky enough to get a (mostly) dry day for their sweet wedding at Rose Briar Place!

Blush pink is one of my favorite colors for weddings and I was SO happy to see Kenzie had chosen a dusty blush for her florals and details! It is so beautiful and reminds me of soft, sweet romantic moments.

And let’s take a minute to really appreciate those behind the scenes moments when the bride and groom are getting ready with family and friends! Some of my favorite moments happen before the actual wedding!

One of THE MOST special moments of any bride’s day is the putting on of the dress. It’s the moment their mother/sister/grandmother/friend gets to help them put on the dress they’ve chosen for the moment they marry their best friend. It’s when everyone will see her as a BRIDE for the first time.

I Do, I Do, I Do

If I’m being 100% honest (which you guys know I always like to keep it real), this was one of the most emotional and touching ceremonies I have been blessed to attend! Brig became so overcome with emotion watching Kenzie come down the aisle with her father, he closed his eyes to hold it all in until she came closer.

I had THE hardest time not crying like a baby behind my camera as I listened to them exchange vows and promise to make a beautiful life together, come what may.

I really don’t think there was a dry eye in the house after the vows. The way they made everything so personal to each other was so, so special to witness.

After all the emotions, then came the excitement! Kenzie and Brig became Mr & Mrs Godwin!

These two are so fun and easy going, they made my job easy! I really didn’t have to do any prompting or adjusting, they just fell right into each other and made everything look so natural!

And Then It Was Time to Party!

After all the “work”, it was time to play! This group was just too much!

Dance, Dance

Okay, Okay…I know that I have a lot of “favorite moments” at weddings, I get it…but I ALWAYS cry during the first dance, mother/son, and father/daughter dances. ALWAYS. This was no different.

But the rest of the reception was a real party! I love when things keep moving and grooving 😉
