It’s been a while since I’ve given you a peek from an engagement session, so here I am, sharing the goodness that you all deserve to see! Kendi and Clinton are getting married!

Kendi approached me to take their engagement photos and I was so excited when she told me she worked at my grandfather’s office! What a small world! I spent so much time in that office growing up, it was fun to be able to talk to each other about the funny things that happened there.

Middle School Sweethearts Tie the Knot

It was so easy for these two to fall into a groove together since they’ve been together since the 7th grade. Isn’t that awesome?! 11 years together and this year, they get to tie the knot. I’m so excited for them both! We had a beautiful fall day for our engagement session, no wind (which is totally rare in Western Oklahoma), and the temperature was perfect! Sometimes Oklahoma gives the worst weather (Amen? Amen.), so it was wonderful to get perfection for once!

We started off with our session at dear old SWOSU, where Clinton received a DUAL degree in Healthcare Administration and Business Management and Kendi got her undergrad degree in Healthcare Administration! We ran around the campus, walked the field where Clinton played, and caught those real emotions as Kendi and Clinton goofed off together.

Western Oklahoma Golden Hour

GUYS. It’s my favorite thing ever to go out in a secluded spot with the sun shining behind, and have some fun together without worrying people will see. That’s exactly what we did. We went out on the farmland and danced around, walked through the golden sunset, and picked a whole lot of stickers out of our jeans.

Let me tell you something, these two made my work so easy. You know that people were meant to be together when they never stop smiling at each other. These two were so happy throughout their session, my heart could barely handle it. I’m so grateful they gave me a call and I seriously cannot wait until their wedding next month! EEK!
